A Night To Remember

Three days had passed but what had happened that night is still on my mind. I can say that this JS Prom 2008 is better than the JS Prom 2007. Want to know why? It’s because I danced with WINNIE THE POOH. I was so “kilig” during that time.

The day before JS, I’m not excited but when I entered the gymnasium, my heart beat is faster than the normal beat. Of course, its just normal. They were all dancing when I arrived in the gym.

The Pageant came! We supported our representative-Xandra. Even though she didn’t win, she’s still the winner for us.
Then came the six last dances. Mt heart beat became faster again. I was thinking of someone again. The very last dance came…………..
I sat when the second to the last person and I were finished to dance. I was shocked when a hand appeared in front of me. It was him! It was really him!
I smiled at him before we danced. When it was all finished, we sat down and waited for the affair to end. Maxconians took pictures! We were the last one inside the gym.

Time flies so fast.....

Graduation is fast approaching. Time flies so fast. It seems that yesterday was the first day of classes. But now, I’m already thinking of our graduation. The farewell day. =(

We will be having our finals at the third week or fourth week of February. It’s so early. This is just normal for us, graduates. I already passed my movie to Ma’am Vera Cruz. That movie was always the reason for me to go to bed at 11:30 PM. Whoa! I remember when Dugang asked me to do her movie; I slept at 1:00 AM. I look so haggard that time. My God, I thought I couldn’t do it but I was.
Honestly speaking, I didn’t know anything about windows movie maker before but because of this lesson, I can say that I almost know everything about this software. Thanks to Ma’am Eve! And so far I got high in the test.
JS Prom again! I’m a little bit excited. It seems like I was just a third year student. I mean the feeling! Oh well… Let’s just see what will happen.

Oh! I almost forgot! I lost my phone! February 4, 2008 at 1:00 PM. I didn’t know that February month is such a “malas” month for me! Huhu!
48 days to go before March 28! I’ll make sure that I will make my last days here at ISNHS memorable and worthwhile. I don’t want to go yet! I’m enjoying here but what can I do? It’s just a matter of acceptance.
I’ll treasure all knowledge I’ve learned from this school and bring them to the next level of education---COLLEGE!

New Year... New Hope!

Many things had happened. Studies, family, friends and even love life.
Third quarter is about to end. As expected, I’ve encountered problems regarding my studies. In my Computer Class, we’re making web design. We only have four hours to make it. I think it’s “bitin”?! Yeah! Researching was easy but in making the HTML files, I was a little bit hard up. Sheena and I agreed to make it in order for us to make it but we were not able to meet because I was so busy during that time (SK). So, I was the one obliged to make it because I have all files and to finish it as soon as possible. Actually, I just did it last January 1.
I even went to San Sebastian to borrow the notebook of Angelica so that I can start making the HTML files.
I’ve learned a lesson: I should have also written my notes so that I shouldn’t have been to their place at night just to borrow computer notes. Hehe! But I enjoyed going to their place. =)

Moving on, I will write my notes and be more responsible (Talaga???!) so thatI will have my own and to save time, money and effort.9Going to the house of Angelica)
Christmas programs? Christmas vacations? Oh.. I loved it! This is the most wonderful of all Christmas I’ve encountered with. Reconciliation with my friends whom I’ve quarreled to. I even cried (T_T) hehe! When I heard the song Farewell(videoke), tears ran down my face and realized that its not good to celebrate Christmas with misunderstandings(I was right!). I hugged them while the three of us were crying (drama!).
Even my New Year, it was also awesome and we performed “karagkarag”(using metals to create noise, just like noise barrage). We also cooked leche plan! Believe me, it was so delicious! Haha!

Fireworks! I love it! It was really nice to see fireworks up in the sky. The colors, The sound, everything was so perfect! After that, we ate our media noche. I didn’t celebrate my New Year in our house1 They’re all sleeping that time kasi eh..(boring na kapag ganoon…). Kaya sa ibang bahay ako pumunta, hehe!
That’s all! 2007 has been a blast for me! I just hope that 2008 will be more fruitful, happy and full of luck!

Second Periodical Examination is over….

We were through with all the activities in Computer (Activity 1 to Activity 9). It was all about HTML tags. In here, there are specific tags to be used in order to view the document in the Internet Explorer. Every time we finished our activities, we also have to make our written activity regarding the tags that were included in our hands-on activities.

For that, I’m thankful that Mrs. Vera Cruz taught these things to us. But sometimes, I can’t take this kind of things..

At first, these things made me feel confused because of the tags that I have encountered especially in our Activity No. 7. You really need concentration so that you will be able to make it in a right way..


Our second periodical test is over. Honestly speaking, I was hard up with it. Our test was difficult (sort of) unlike our test in the first grading that it was so easy.

This problem makes me feel uneasy. I was thinking that this subject is just the only one making my grades high then all of a sudden it will lie low because of the exams. I can’t take! huhu.. Well, I hope we will all pass.

First Grading is Over

We were through with the first grading of the schoolyear 2007-2008. Of course, we have already finished our exams. All the things we have already learned in the first grading was included in the examination. And thanks God,we passed. We are now in the second grading of this school year. Ma'am Vera Cruz, our computer teacher, taught us the different tags, HTML, HTML File, HTML Editors, Page Address, the most essential web standards and many more.

We also experienced encoding yags taught to us by Ma'amVera Cruz in the notepad. Honestly speaking,"makasholaw".. hehe! In our activity I entitled BASIC HTML TAGS, it's so "nakakaduling". You have to be careful enough to encode the tags because if ever you will commit one mistake (even one) the activity will not appear in the Internet Explorer. We made a written activity regarding all tags included in our activity I. We were also through with the activity II entitled heading tags. Actually it'smore easy because it has lesser content.

It's good to know this kind of things... "KAKAIBA"and "ASTIG"! but sometimes nakakasawa(rigat gamin.. hehe!)

My Second Blog

After two weeks of facing challenges and problems, I'm still here alive and kicking! hehehe...
We were busy creating our blog, we filled out the required informations, we chose one design among the given templates. We encoded all things written in our seatwork. We also uploaded pictures.
We also joined the Food Festival. We planned to sellmiki because it's delicious, nutricious and not expensive that everyone can afford to buy.

I was the one assigned to bring the miki and I was late because of it. But all efforts were worthy because our miki was sold easily. It really shows that people like it very much.

A seminar was held at Audio Visual Room. This was sponsored by the Philippine National Red Cross. Its main topic was about home nursing. i enjoyed the activity although it's quite boring. Through this kind of activity, i've learned how to get blood pressure, body temperature, how to take care a sick person(specifically at home). Ms Sales,our school nurse, was the one who guided us during the seminar.

Mini graduation was also held right after the seminar. We contributed 15.oo for the snacks. We also took pictures together with the facilitators. I really enjoyed the seminar! yehey!

My First Blog(Suzette)

1. What are the new learnings/discoveries that I have learned?
What a fab0ulous discoveries! In TLE IV (Computer Education), I have learned mant things. History of Internet is the first thing I've known. Knowing the history of Internet is interesting because you're going to dig all facts and details about it. It is also important to know the Internet services and tools so that it will be easier for us to know what are we going to use if ever we're going to use the Internet. I had also learned data types-text files,graphic files,multimedia. This part of our lesson made me aware of things/words related tomovies, stereo,pictures such as JPEG,MPEG,GIF etc. I have discovered how to use search engines and how to translate search request into search terms. And for now, it is easier for me tolook any research work in the Internet because I have learned how to combine search terms such as phrase searching, boolean logic, pseudo-boolean logic and term weighing.

2.What are the problems?challenges that I have encountered?
As far as I know,time pressure during hands-on activities is just one of the problems I've encountered during our TLE period. And one thing more is (mining the Internet) was a hard task for me beacause I'm not the kind of person that is expert in doing things with regards to Internet.

3. How did I addressed these challenges?
Doing the activity as fast as I can together with my groupmate, Sheena, is the way how I addressed this challenge. Cooperating with her helped a lot!

4. Moving on, I will....
I will do my best to cope up with this subject though it's very easy for us. Ilove surfing the net but the things I have learned is far different from what I'm doing everytime I go and surf the net. I'm a little bit hard up but I love this subject the most!
